RIP: Man named locally as South Longford road traffic collision victim

A man in his 30s who tragically died following injuries he sustained in a Longford road crash has been named locally as Adrii Kukailo.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the R392 in Ballymahon, Co Longford shortly after midnight on Sunday, March 29.

Mr Kukailo, who was the sole occupant of the car, was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore for treatment of injuries.

He passed away in hospital on Friday, April 3 and it is believed he lived in the Ballymahon municipal district area.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

Any motorists who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Longford Garda Station on (043) 3350570, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing.
