There were jubilant scenes at Kingspan Breffni this afternoon as Gowna were crowned Cavan senior football champions for first time in 20 years with an emphatic 2-13 to 1-9 win over Killygarry. Gowna midfielder Ryan Donohoe and county star Oisín Pierson netted the goals in either half and the man of the match was Cian Madden as Gowna got their hands on the coveted Oliver Plunkett Cup for the first time since 2002.
