The 2023 Airtricity League fixtures have been released and Longford Town will start the new season at home to Athlone Town on Saturday February 18, followed by a trip to the RSC on the following Friday night to play Waterford FC.
Next up for Longford, under the new manager Stephen Henderson, is a clash against his former club Cobh Ramblers at Bishopsgate on Saturday March 4.
With newcomers Kerry FC now making it a proper ten team league, the clubs in the First Division will play each other four times in a total of 36 games.
