Lanesboro Parish Hall was a hive of festive activity last Sunday as it played host to a hugely successful Christmas Fair.
The occasion, did not pass, as you would expect without an obligatory visit from Santa and Mrs Claus who arrived via pony and trap.
Following that eagerly awaited arrival, the pair were stationed in their grotto with a little treat for children who looked on with excitement and enthusiasm aplenty.
To add to the intrigue of it all, there were numerous stalls with a series of eye-catching wares which captured the imagination of young and old alike.
Those celebrations came after the Christmas lights were turned on in Lanesboro and Ballyleague the previous Saturday to much fanfare.
Longford Leader photographer was in situ to take in some of that feel good atmosphere, as evidenced by the many happy faces who were captured throughout the course of the day.
