Mannan Castle Golf Notes: Club hosts final night of 2022 presentations

Our final ladies presentation for 2022 was on the Wednesday before Christmas, which is known to many as ‘Kinder Day’.

Lady Captain Siobhan Downey presented silver and bronze medals, singles, and doubles matchplay, birdie tree, the golfer of the year prizes, alongside the weekly and team prizes from the recent winter League weekly and team prizes.

Thank you to everyone who attended the presentation, during what can be such a busy time of year for all of us.

The ladies committee also made a little presentation to Kitty Sharkey for her ace on the 17th hole in our weekly competition. That was got all the way back in early September. Congratulations again Kitty.

Singles Matchplay Winner:  Jo Morris, Runner Up: Gill Rouiller; Doubles Matchplay Winners:  Jo Barry & Bridie Fitzmaurice, Runners Up Margaret Bourke & Rita O’Loughlin.

Christmas Hamper 18 Hole Competition (Sponsored by Sean Moriarty Transport): 1st Imelda Hanratty 37pts, 2nd Bridie Fitzmaurice 33pts, 3rd Esther Durcan 33pts.
