Plans progress for 18 new homes in Tallanstown

Plans are progressing for 18 new homes in Tallanstown, with the submission by the applicant of further information on the planned development to Louth County Council.

Anthony and Mary Loughran applied to Louth County Council in May 2022 for planning permission for 18 new dwellings on a site at Glyde Road, Tallanstown, Co Louth.

The planned dwellings are in in two terraced blocks comprising, in the first block, one three storey end of terrace, four bedroom dwelling; one two-storey end of terrace, three bedroom dwelling; two two-storey mid terrace, four bedroom dwellings; and eight two-storey mid terrace, three bedroom dwellings.

The second terrace block comprises one three-storey end of terrace, four bedroom dwelling; one two-storey end of terrace, three bedroom dwelling; one two-storey mid terrace, four bedroom dwelling; and three two-storey mid terrace, three bedroom dwellings.

A decision was initially due on the planning application by 11 June 2022 but the local authority sought further information on the planned development on 7 July. Further information was submitted to Louth County Council on 12 January, with a decision on the application now due by 8 March 2023.
