Last week a group that have been training with Dundalk Sub Aqua Club, completed their swimming pool assessment test.
All the trainees had been learning, practicing & participating in the skills to becoming a safe competent scuba divers.
Along with the practical skills, they have also been attending lectures that are required by Comhairle-Fó-Thuinn (Irish Underwater Council).
Next step for the new members is open water training.
This will continue until March, when they will have their first dive.
