Last week saw runners and walkers alike take to the streets of Dundalk for the Fitzer Run for Rehab 5K, an event that is proving ever more popular as the years go by.
Organised by local TD Peter Fitzpatrick, the run raises funds for the Maria Goretti Children's Respite and the RehabCare Centres in the town. This year it was celebrating it's 10th running.
In the end the spoils went to Tipperary native Sean Tobin, with second place going to Isak Erriksen. Both men ran very strong times, in what was seen as a very successful race.
There to soak up the atmosphere, both pre and post race, was the Democrat's resident photographer Arthur Kinahan. Below is a gallery of the best pictures he took on the day.
