A 45 year old man who admitted an assault at the Imperial Hotel, was given a four month suspended sentence when the case was finalised at Dundalk District Court last week.

Conor Carville with an address at Darver Castle, Readypenny was prosecuted over an incident on June 21st 2019. The Defence solicitor handed in updated correspondence on drug testing to the court in relation to a Circuit Court matter which is due to be finalised later this month.

He added that his client is working full time as a self-employed electrician, has no previous convictions and has not come to further garda attention.

Judge Eirinn McKiernan imposed a four-month sentence, suspended for 18 months on the defendant entering a bond to be of good behaviour for that period.
