AMTCE in Dundalk announces Women Only course in 3D Concrete Printing

As the demand for new housing remains extremely high and recruitment into the trades remains challenging, AMTCE (Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of Excellence) says it is delighted to announce a one-day course exclusively for women in 3D concrete printing (3DCP) on Monday 20th March 2023 in Drogheda.  

AMTCE says the purpose of this dedicated course is to encourage more women to consider the construction industry as a career option. The course will be delivered by FutureCast on behalf of the AMTCE with the support of the Women in Construction and Quarrying Ireland (WICQI) steering group. 

3DCP is a cutting-edge construction technique that has the potential to significantly influence the future of the construction industry. The course is open to architects and their office and technical staff as well as design and structural engineers and building contractors interested in the newest methods of construction. 

The course will provide learners with the fundamentals of 3D concrete printing including the equipment, the processes, the materials, and the opportunities that this cutting-edge technology brings.
