The Dundalk Roads Policing Unit say they were on patrol on the M1 recently when they saw driver of a truck on their phone while driving.
The driver was stopped and issued a fine.
The Dundalk Road Policing Unit further say four other drivers were detected using their phones within 20 minutes of each other.
