Dundalk court: Fined for stun gun

A stun gun recovered from the defendant’s home, had been bought legally in France during Euro 2016 had had ‘rested’ there until it was found by gardai, Dundalk District Court was told last week.

The explanation was given by the solicitor representing 34 year old Sean Malone of Demesne Terrace, Dundalk.

Malone was being prosecuted for possessing the item without an authorized firearms certificate on June 24th 2021.

Judge Eirinn McKiernan imposed a €200 fine.
