The death has occurred of Joe McCormack (Snr) of Bohernamoe, Ardee, Co. Louth

On 13 March, peacefully in his 92nd year, at home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Peggy, daughter Geraldine, son-in-law Anthony and his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters Maryrose, Margaret, Patricia, Elaine, Roísín, Catherine and Martha, sons Peter, Joseph, Richard, Patrick and John, brother-in-law Patsy, sister-in-law Winnie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday from 4.00 pm until removal on Thursday morning at 9.15 am to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery. House private on Thursday morning for removal. Family flowers only.

The death has occurred of Stephen (Edward) Gordon of Kilbrew Nursing Home, Ashbourne, Meath / Ardee, Louth / Dublin

Peacefully at Kilbrew Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Molly and Christy and sister Christine. Stephen will be very sadly missed by his loving sister Joan, brother Christopher, brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Sylvia, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St. Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan on Wednesday evening from 5pm with Funeral Service at 6.30pm. Burial on Thursday morning at 10.30am in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Kilbrew Nursing Home for all the care shown to Stephen.

The death has occurred of Raymond (Raymie) Hanlon of Ballagan, Greenore, Louth

Following a road accident. Predeceased by his sister Bernadette. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken parents James and Patricia, daughter Kourtney, partner Deborah, brothers and sisters Seamus, Yvonne, Colin, Róisín, Ronan, Paul, Michael John and Patrick, Kourtney’s mother Caroline, sisters-in-law Sinead, Nicola, Liza and Melissa, brothers-in-law David and Bryan, his nephews, nieces, grandnieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and a wide circle of relatives and friends.

Reposing at the family home from 2pm-11pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Removal on Thursday at 10.30am, to the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Boher, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) McGorrin (née Farrell) of Feran Drive, Louth Village, Louth and formerly Tankardsrock, Kilkerley, Dundalk

Peacefully, at home. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Margaret, husband Joe, son James and brothers Gerard, Bernard and Paddy Joe. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing sons and daughter Joseph, Dermot, Mary, John, Brian and Stephen, Mary’s partner Steve, Dermot’s partner Freda, granddaughters Zoe and Katie, sisters Bridie and Theresa, nephews, nieces, good neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn's Funeral Homes, Bridge Street, Dundalk on Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal from the funeral home on Wednesday to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village, proceeding on foot from family home at 10.45am, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.
