The Dundalk Roads Policing Unit were conducting a checkpoint on Wednesday night carrying out mandatory intoxicant checks when they stopped the driver of this car.
Gardai say that:
“The driver of this vehicle passed the tests however when Gardai quizzed the driver a bit more it came to light they never held a licence or had insurance.”
The vehicle was seized and a court appearance is to follow.
An Garda Síochána Louth say they will be conducting checkpoints all over the Division this weekend.
