Talk on understanding autism to take place in Dundalk Institute

A talk on understanding autism will take place at the DkIt next week.

As part of autism acceptance week, Gheel Autism Services will give a talk in DkIT library.

Philip, who is supported by the the Gheel Autism Services' North Dublin Transition team, will explain what autism is and give insight into his experience growing up with autism in Ireland.

The event will take place on Thursday 30th March at 1.30pm in the Slieve Foy room in the de Chastelain library.

Admission's free. Everyone welcome.

Gheel champions and supports autistic people providing day, residential, supported living and outreach services, with the goal of maximising independence and enhancing quality of life.
