Kilkerley Emmets are hosting a Community Day and 24 Hour Sponsored Walk commencing at 2.00pm this Friday, April 14, 2023, around the club walking track.
Teams will walk in one hour slots and all proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the continued development of club facilities and the running of their numerous teams.
The day aims to create a sense of belonging in the area, bringing the whole community together including people new to the parish and even those not into football.
It’s hoped the event will encourage people to get out walking a few times a week and foster a sense of community spirit.
Team Leaders are still needed for the event so if you are interested in getting involved please contact Eamonn on 086- 0806570.
