Dundalk median houses price stood at €250k in February
The median house price for houses sold with the Dundalk Eircode A91 in February 2023 was €250,000, according to figures released by the CSO (Central Statistics Office) last Friday.
36 houses were sold in Dundalk in February, two of which were new houses (down from 13 in January) and 34 were existing houses (down from 52 in January).
The median price of the new houses sold was €384,959 (up from €345,000 in January) and the median price of exisiting houses sold in February was €219,750 (down from €244,000 in January).
Of the 36 houses sold in Dundalk in January, for were to first time buyer owner-occupiers; 26 to former owner-occupiers and six were to non occupiers.
In Drogheda, the median price of residential properties sold in A92: Drogheda in February 2023, was €293,915.
35 of the houses sold were new houses and 55 were existing. The median price for the new houses sold was €350,000, while for existing houses it was €272,000.
Nationally, households paid a median price of €310,000 for a dwelling on the residential property market in the 12 months to February 2023.
