On Easter Monday Dundalk Gaels hosted their annual 5K Run. Huge numbers turned out to take part, line the streets and help oversee the race.
In the end the honours went to Donnacha Mac Aohda and Aine Cotter, who both produced stunning times to take the victory in the men's and ladies' events.
There to soak up the atmosphere was the Democrat's resident photographer Arthur Kinahan. Below is a selection of the best snaps he took.
