Dundalk's Green Church to host annual songs of praise & thanksgiving for our emergency services

St Nicholas’ Church of Ireland, Dundalk “The Green Church” will be hosting the “4th Annual Songs of Praise & Thanksgiving for our Emergency Services” on Tuesday 16th May at 7:30pm with all welcome.

Before any of us hear the word “COVID”, the Green Church had commenced hosting a special ‘Songs of Praise and Thanksgiving’ to acknowledge the exceptional people who mind and look after us all day, every day, 24/7/365.

A spokesperson said:

“This is an opportunity for all the people of the North Louth area, and from across all religious beliefs to say “Thank You” to these wonderful people and join in prayer for their safety over the year ahead.”

Again this year, representatives of the Emergency Services will include Ambulance personnel, an Garda Síochána, the Fire Brigade, the Army & Defence Forces, Emergency Nurses & Doctors, Civil Defence, Mountain and Sea Rescue, the Emergency crews of Electricity, Gas & County Council services and others will join the people of the area for this colourful, meaningful and memorable annual event
