PHOTOS: Louis students get on their bikes for cycle around Dundalk

Pupils at St Louis Secondary School celebrated the 'Travel to school by Bike' with a cycle around Dundalk town.

Over 100 students and staff from St Louis took part in the bike ride, supported by members of An Garda Síochána and Dundalk Fire Station.

Other students who don't have bikes took part in the event by walking the route.

The “Travel to school by Bike” initiative is supported by the Active Travel Team in Louth County Council.

As if the sunshine and fresh air weren’t enough, students and staff enjoyed fabulous coffee and treats from local business Last Lap Cafe at the school on their return.

Well done to everyone who took part and helped to organise the great event!
