Dundalk based addiction support service Turas is organising a wellness evening to encourage everyone to take time out for reflection in nature.
The evening will also help to raise funds to support their work helping people in Dundalk and surrounds with addiction recovery.
Join Turas for an evening of empowerment at Templetown Beach on Wednesday, 21st June 2023 at 7:30pm to celebrate the summer solstice through yoga, sea swimming, acupuncture, energy circle, meditation and more.
It will be an opportunity to release negativity and create a circle of power, enabling everyone in attendance to heal, awaken and unite.
The evening is intended to offer people the opportunity to unwind in the calm surroundings of the sea while guided through yoga, meditation and an energy circle to take time for inner reflection. Reflexology and acupuncture will also be available.
The evening will have the beautiful Cooley peninsula beach as its backdrop and will involve a dip in its waters at high tide for purifying and relaxation purposes.
Come along for a memorable way to mark the longest day of the year. The Solstice marks the point in the year when the sun is at its highest and is believed to be a sacred time because a new season is formed.
