Little Red vs The Big Bad Wolf is produced by An Táin Arts Centre and comes to Anaverna House
An Táin Arts Centre return to the beautiful grounds of Anaverna house for the nineth year running with an outdoor, promenade family theatre show.
Little Red vs The Big Bad Wolf written by Anna Simpson, is a modern, fresh take on the beloved classic fairy tale, providing interactive storytelling, giggles galore, and a slick visual feast suitable for the whole family.
When big sister Violet sneaks off into the woods to meet her online boyfriend, little sister Red gets a bad feeling, a big bad feeling, and sets off across Anaverna to rescue her sister, face her own fears and a hairy scary foe. Suitable for ages 5+.
Director of An Táin Arts Centre, Paul Hayes said: “I love our annual trip to Anaverna, taking the audience through the grounds and into the woods is always exciting.
“This year’s show has a very important message for our younger audiences; beware of strangers you meet on the internet, they may not be who they seem in reality.
“We do 16 shows each year and they sell out each time as many families come back to us time and time again.”

Little Red vs The Big Bad Wolf is produced by An Táin Arts Centre and comes to Anaverna House in Ravensdale from Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th August 2023, show times are 1pm, 3pm and 5pm daily with an additional performance at 7pm on Saturday 5th August.
Tickets cost €13.50 - Adult, €7 - child /concession and €30 for a family pass.
All tickets incur a booking fee of €1.50 per ticket per person.
Tickets will not be available at Anaverna House, admission will be by customer list.
