Darkness into Light: Drummond Lodge Service Users and Staff took part in the Darkness into Light walk after their coffee morning
Healthcare provider, Resilience Healthcare, organised a heartwarming coffee morning recently at Drummond Lodge in Carrickmacross.
The event aimed to raise funds for Pieta House, an organisation that supports individuals facing mental health challenges.
Drummond Lodge, a residence catering to individuals with physical and sensory disabilities, played a crucial role in hosting the event.
Situated at the heart of the community, Drummond lodge served as a gathering place where service users came together with family, friends and some local celebrities including Monaghan's star footballer Conor McManus to raise over €2,400 for Pieta House.
The coffee morning not only brought the community closer but also contributed to the noble cause of promoting mental well-being. Drummond Lodge Staff and Service Users also took part in the Darkness into Light walk on May 6th.
