It is with great sadness that the Durkin family announces the death of their brother Tomye, the youngest member of their family, who passed away peacefully, in London. Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth and his brother Martin. Tomye is survived by his twin sister Ann and also by his sisters Ethel and Marie and brother Brendan, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many close friends, that he held with great affection, young and old in London and his hometown of Dundalk, which he visited regularly.
Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52) from 4pm-8pm on Thursday, August 10th. Removal on Friday, August 11th, at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to St. Nicholas' Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. After Mass, the cortege will continue to St. Patrick's Cemetery for burial.

Vera Devaney (née James) formerly Green Lane, Leixlip, Co. Kildare, Sunday, 6th August 2023. Suddenly, at her residence. Beloved wife of the late Dessie and cherished mum of Veronica. Predeceased by her husband, parents Walter and Eileen, brothers Joe and Wally, sisters Mary, Eileen, Anne, Isobel and Sheila. She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken daughter, granddaughter Lauren, brothers Dave and Dominic, sister Laura, brothers in law, sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Dundalk (eircode) A91Y3CX from Friday afternoon 11th August 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.40am driving to St. Joseph's Church, Castletown, Fatima arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
