Dundalk Family Addiction Support Network
In an effort to support individuals and families impacted by addiction, FASN is facilitating a free transformative 6 week Healing Through Creativity workshop and an innovative free 10-week online RISE Program starting this September and October.
Aimed specifically for the people of Louth and Meath, these initiatives aim to provide solace, empowerment, and a sense of community for loved ones and family members dealing with addiction and substance misuse-related challenges within their families.
The Healing Through Creativity Workshop offers a unique opportunity for participants to harness the therapeutic power of artistic expression.
Facilitated by Anne McDonald (B.A., M.Phil), professional life coach, creative writing teacher, and award-winning spoken word performer, this free workshop encourages attendees to channel their emotions, stories and struggles into creative works.
Through painting, writing, and other forms of artistic exploration, individuals can find healing and release while connecting with others who share similar experiences. The workshop funded by the Drogheda Implementation Board will run for 4 weeks in East Coast FRC, 5 Strand Haven, Laytown. Drogheda dates for the same workshop to be announced.
The RISE Program is an online program assisting loved ones of those struggling with family members with substance misuse issues.
