National Pen has announced that it will open a new office building in the Finnabair Industrial Estate in Dundalk.
On Thursday staff and guests will gather to officially open the new office building.
Established in Dundalk in 1987 the company announced last year that it would be ceasing fulfilment operations in the town with around 100 people facing redundancy but says it remains committed to its Irish operations.
In a statement National Pen said:
"After moving out of their previous premises in the Xerox Technology Park in Dundalk, National Pen management were keen to invest in a new functional and modern office space for their 240 employees based in Ireland."
President and CEO of National Pen Peter Kelly said:
"I am excited to join our teams in Dundalk for the official opening of our new office space on August 31st.
"We have 240 team members based in Ireland and in line with our Digital Transformation we are committed to improving the Employee Experience, so we have invested in a modern and functional new office space for teams in Dundalk.
"We remain committed to Dundalk as our European Headquarters, where high skilled team members help small businesses do big things by providing more savings, value and time to our Pens.com customers.
"There have been many changes to our business throughout the last few years and I look forward to joining teams for a day and evening event on August 31st to thank them for everything they do and to celebrate this new era in our Irish operations."
