Dundalk court: Community service for man who stole designer watch

A 23 year old man who admitted robbing a €350 Armani watch and €50 in cash, has been sentenced to 180 hours community service at Dundalk district court, in lieu of a four month sentence.

Joel Maguire with an address at Doolargy Avenue, Dundalk previously pleaded guilty to committing the offence at Glenmore Park on October 21st last.

The case had been adjourned on the last occasion for the Probation service to assess his suitability to perform community service, and the court heard last Wednesday that the report was positive.
