Simon Coveney TD, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment visited Creative Spark last Friday

Simon Coveney TD, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment visited Creative Spark on Friday 22 September. Upon his arrival, Minister Coveney received a warm welcome from Creative Spark's Executive Director, Sarah Daly, and members of the Creative Spark Board.

Sarah led Minister Coveney on a comprehensive tour of the facilities, providing insights into the building's purpose and the individuals who benefit from its services.

The Minister had the privilege of visiting the entire facility, guided by Sarah and Grainne Murphy, Print Studio Coordinator, who showcased the print studio's cutting-edge equipment and introduced him to the world of printmaking and art.

The tour continued to the recently opened Co-Working and Hotdesking area, offering a glimpse into the dynamic workspace environment, and included a meeting with Mark Coan from Money Sherpa.

The visit concluded at the Enterprise FabLab, where Carl McAteer, Technical Manager, guided Minister Coveney through the FabLab's space and equipment, followed by a brief presentation about the FabLab by Oscar Diaz, Education and Operations Manager.

Minister Coveney also took the opportunity to engage with artist Eimear Murphy, a member of the FabLab community.

Expressing his interest in the innovative facilities, Minister Coveney concluded his tour by extending his thanks to the dedicated staff and board members for their ongoing dedication and efforts towards the success of Creative Spark and its community of entrepreneurs.
