Louth Macra Na Feirme information night set to take place

Louth Macra Na Feirme are set to hold an information night about their orgnaisation next week.

Macra Na Feirme are a voluntary rural youth organisation for people aged 17 to 35 across Ireland.

Currently they have five active clubs within Louth, these include Termonfeckin, Tullyallen, Togher, Stabannon and Kilcurry. 

On Thursday 12th of October, the Stabannon Macra club is hosting an information night in the Parnell Bar Stabannon from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. 

There are numerous benefits from joining a Macra club, from a social aspect you get to meet people with similar interests, a louth Macra spokesperson said.

"There are skill and training opportunities as well as the chance to take part in competitions ranging from bowling, gaelic and soccer, welding and even cattle stock judging."

people are invited to come along to their information night to meet their current club members and find out about all the fun they have.

Their recent Macra Mart event was a huge success in the Lisdoo Bar and Restaurant Dundalk and they said they are extremely looking forward to their up and coming New Year's Eve Ball.
