Megaslam Wrestling brings it’s 2023 Live Tour to An Táin Arts Centre
What organisers describe as "the #1 live experience for families", is coming back to Dundalk next month, as Megaslam Wrestling brings it’s 2023 Live Tour to An Táin Arts Centre.
Established in 2009, Megaslam Wrestling are Europe’s most prolific wrestling promoters, presenting in excess of 300 Live Events per year in the UK, Republic of Ireland and the Isle Of Man.
An array of talented performers who have performed in world class venues are coming to the Dundalk venue with a two hour family entertainment spectacular on Saturday November 4th.
Organisers say they are bringing a ‘Mega’ line up to the town with top stars appearing from across the world.
"Our show is a year round touring event which hits every area of the UK, as well as Ireland and the Isle of Man. We first brought the show to Dundalk in November of last year and the crowd were very responsive, we have now made Ireland our 2nd home with over 50 events a year across the country.
"Our events have a great following in Ireland and it is no surprise that we bring the leading wrestling stars from across the world on our tours!
"You do not necessarily need to be a wrestling fan to enjoy our events, the show appeals to all the family who are just looking for a spectacular family experience, we guarantee that you will want to come back!"
Two teams will battle it out during the evening with fans being urged to cheer on their favourites.
"For Team Megaslam we have the Megaslam Machine, Massimo - a muscle bound giant of the ring from Italy, the Mega popular - Derek and a few other surprises.
"Opposing them will be Team Nasty, Megaslam Champion - Martin Kirby - Maori Warrior NIWA who is a terrifying presence from New Zealand and has battled stars in Mexico and Japan ’Heavyweight Monster’ Mickey Barnes who weighs in at 25 stone plus many more stars from across the globe, making this a truly international spectacular [event].
"We are bringing the full Megaslam experience to Dundalk. The vast majority of our events this year have sold out and we fully expect this event to do the same’"
After the show fans will be invited to stay behind and meet their favourite stars. "We want to give the area two hours of affordable family entertainment", the organisers add.
Megaslam are urging fans to book in advance as sales for previous events have been extremely high. Tickets are available from the An Táin Arts Centre or online.
