Second defibrillator donated to gardai in Cooley Peninsuala

The Cooley Peninsula Community Alert said it was delighted to present the second new defibrillator to the Gardaí which will be located in the other vehicle covering the Peninsula.

The device, which will be vital in providing life saving assistance across the entire area, was donated by the Community Alert group with funding they raised.

The Cooley Peninsula Community Alert Chairman Michael Muckian said: "This is a vital life saying device and its fantastic that Gardaí who are often the first responders to incidents are now able to access these so quickly.

"We hope that we can continue this initiative in late 2023 and 2024 to add similar in other other outlying Garda locations in Louth."
