Public invited to information day on St Nicholas Quarter regeneration project in Dundalk

An information day for members of the public in relation to the St Nicholas Quarter Regeneration Scheme is to take place next  Wednesday 29 November from 3pm to 7pm in the lobby of the Town Hall, Crowe Street, Dundalk.
 
The information day will cover the plans for the public realm scheme for Bridge Street, Northgate Street and Linenhall street.

Louth County Council staff and the consultants for the project, BDP, will be on hand to discuss the proposed plans.

BDP Ltd are the Urban Design Team for the first phase of the St Nicholas Quarter project. Phase 1 of the project, which received Part 8 approval in April 2018, involves the enhancement of the public realm along Bridge Street, Linenhall Street and Peace Park.

Phase 2 of the St. Nicholas Quarter project is the design of an acceptable concept for the redevelopment of the Backlands area of the St Nicholas Quarter. This concept will then be progressed for Part 8 planning with full public consultation.
