Christmas Food Drive in aid of St Patrick’s Parish Soup Kitchen & Food Parcels in Dundalk

A Christmas Food Drive in aid of St. Patrick’s Parish Soup Kitchen & Food Parcels will take place from Monday 11 to Saturday 16 December with contributions collected distributed to families in need in the community.

Donations can be dropped into Dundalk BIDS & Tourist Office at Market Square from 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday, and 12 – 2pm on Saturday the 16th of December.

The Christmas Food Drive, which is organised annually by friends Rochelle Lazaro and Sinéad Roche, has been a great success in the past and the ladies are hoping that this year the generosity of public will once again help to fill the shelves of our local Soup Kitchen, and ease the burden of people in need this Christmas.

Suggested donations include canned goods, rice, pasta, cereal, crackers, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, porridge, diluted orange juice, jam or any non-perishable foods of your choice.

St Patrick’s Parish Soup Kitchen and Food Parcels provide a food service for one hour, 7 days a week, and they also provide food parcels to families and people in need every Friday from 10am-11:30am.
