Pork Pie take to the stage in Toales on Friday night
There is plenty of gigs in Toales Rock Bar and Live Venue this weekend.
Friday December 15th – Avocado Rocks presents Pork Pie/Ganzy/Fomorian
Avocado Rocks is a very popular monthly "original music" event in Toales, featuring an eclectic mix of amazing acts of every genre from around the country, hosted as always by Caroline Reel, and all for a fiver!
This month it's all about the finest of Dundalk talent, veterans to the local scene, the psychedelic/funk rock four-piece Pork Pie, and two new acts, irreverent singer/songwriter Ganzy and new metal band Fomorian.
Admission €5. Doors open 8pm
Saturday December 16th – Sound of Sabbath plus The Sound Group
Belfast's Sound Of Sabbath are a tribute to the Godfathers of Heavy Metal, Black Sabbath, with a full two hour set of both the Ozzy and Dio eras of the metal gods.
Support comes from young Newry punks The Sound Group. Admission €10. Doors open 8pm
