Representatives from the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce recently attended a “fireside chat” with Joseph Kennedy, Special Economic envoy to Northern Ireland as part of the U.S. Embassy’s celebrations marking one hundred years of diplomatic relations with Ireland.

Dundalk Chamber PRO Paddy Malone was invited and obtained permission to extend the invite to the three constituent members of the M1 Corridor, Drogheda Dundalk and Newry.

Mr Malone took the opportunity to outline what the M1 Corridor was focused on, namely the balanced growth of that region within the National Development Plan. He also explained how companies had already moved to the region, employing hundreds.
