A 51 year old woman prosecuted for careless driving after her car collided with a lorry travelling towards Greenore,  had to be cut out of her vehicle, Dundalk District Court heard.

The Defence solicitor said that Blessing Jumbo with an address at McArdle Green Moneymore, Drogheda admits it was her fault that the crash occurred at Muchgrange, Greenore (the Carlingford junction on the  Dundalk/Greenore Road) as she attempted to turn right on April 14th 2022.

However, he stressed that she had suffered a financial loss as a result.

Judge Eirnn McKiernan imposed a fine of €150.
