Louth Volunteer Centre to host volunteer fair

Everyone is welcome to attend on the day, and no previous volunteer experience is needed

Louth Volunteer Centre will be hosting their Volunteer Fair in The Barbican Centre in Drogheda on Tuesday 23rd of April.

The fair will take place from 11 AM to 1 PM and is a fantastic opportunity to meet lots of different organisations from across County Louth and see what volunteer roles they have available and how you can get involved.

There are so many volunteer opportunities available in County Louth sometimes it can be difficult to figure out where to start or know what it is you want to do.

“The volunteer fair is a great opportunity for volunteers to chat with a number of different organisations and get a better sense of what is available and how they can support,” says Olivia Conlon Interim Manager of Louth Volunteer Centre.

Along with a number of different organisations highlighting their volunteer opportunities on the day, Louth Volunteer Centre will be there to give information and support people in registering with Louth Volunteer Centre where they will then have access to I-VOL which is the National volunteering database.

Everyone is welcome to attend on the day, and no previous volunteer experience is needed; there is something for everyone.

For those that attend on the day there will be an opportunity to learn more about the Louth Community Volunteer program which supports events and urgent community support and an opportunity to get involved in the research being carried out by Louth Volunteer Centre as part of the County Louth Volunteering Framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity for people to have their say about volunteering in County Louth and help shape the future of volunteering.

Louth Volunteer Centre hopes to see as many people as possible in the Barbican Centre in Drogheda Tuesday 23rd  of April from 11 AM to 1 PM.
