Pork Pie have released their third single "I want Everything"
Local eclectic rock band Pork Pie are back with their third single “I Want Everything” released last Friday.
In 2021, Pork Pie recorded their debut album "Pterodactyl," which has received excellent reviews to date.
Since then, Pork Pie has been in the studio recording and is back with a new album “Golden Leaf Sheets” which is set for release in early 2024.
The first and second single where received extremely well -"The Bands sound, characterized by a nostalgic aura,creates an irresistible sonic landscape that reflects the bands dedication and countless hours spent honing their craft in the rehearsal room" – Rock Noir Magazine.
"I Want Everything" is the third single off their forthcoming new album.
The sound harks back to a time when guitar and dance music met on the same plane, with epic psychedelic guitar, moody Hammond organ, grooving bass and a fantastic funky drumming design to fill the dance floor.
Recorded in Dundalk's Lockup Recording Studio in 2023, engineered by Pete Rust and Mastered by Fergal Davis.

Pork Pie is an Irish four-piece contemporary alternative eclectic rock outfit, with strong elements of garage, indie groove and psychedelia, playing almost exclusively original songs.
The four original members, Shane Brett (Drums), Michael Laverty (Bass), Michael Stafford
(Vocals, lyrics, Piano, Guitar and Alto Sax), and Peter Laverty (Lead Guitar), have gigged extensively and played multiple festivals and leading music venues in Europe, including the Spirit Store in Ireland, The Paradiso in Amsterdam, Kapu (Culture Centre) Linz, Austria and The Dublin Castle in London.
In October 2021, the band was sponsored by the Irish Government (Department of Arts & Culture) to play an exclusive online gig at the famous Great Northern Brewery in Ireland, which was released to rave reviews in the music press.
