The death has occurred of Patricia (Pat) Muckian of Ballinahattna, Dundalk, Louth

Predeceased by her parents Peter and Sarah, brothers Brian, Donal and Eamonn and sister Pauline (Donaghy). She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken sisters Eilish (O’Brien), Barbara (Walshe, Navan), Sheila, Mary (Connolly), Margaret, Bernadette (Cunningham) and Angela, aunt Nuala (Guckian), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Monday, from her home at Ballinahattna, Doylesfort Road, at 11.30am, driving to St. Nicholas' Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. After Mass, the cortège will continue, driving, to St. Patrick's Cemetery for burial. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice. The death has occurred of Martin Robinson of 203 Cedarwood Park, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Rita and Jimmy, his brother and best friend Freddie, granddaughters Hannah and Jessica and son-in-law Martin.

He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife Bea, family Janette, Maria, Martina, Jamie and Mark, grandchildren Victoria, Dean, John, Andrea, Nathan, Thomas, Stefan, Clara, Lucy, Eamonn, Karl, Aóbha, Kyle and Everly, great-grandchildren Alaya, Sophia, Raynah, Luca, Noah, Ollie and Lillie, sons-in-law Peter, John and Cathal, daughter-in-law Gillian, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home from 3pm-8pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday at 1pm to St. Joseph's Church, Castletown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Thomas Quigley of Clermont Park, Haggardstown Blackrock, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully in Curam Care Home on 18 May 2024. Beloved husband of Sheila and brother of Meta. Son of the late Elizabeth and Owen Quigley. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and family circle.

Reposing at his late residence. Removal on Monday at 9.30am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Furseys Church, Haggardstown. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Peter (Jock) Lennon late of Culhane Street, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully. Predeceased by his parents Mary and William, brothers Michael, William, Gerard (Jock), Paddy, Tommy and Johnny and sisters Eileen and Elizabeth, who died in infancy. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing sister Margie (McCormack), brother-in-law Gerry, sister-in-law Ann, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends. 

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Bridge Street, Dundalk, from 3pm-7pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday at 10.20am, proceeding on foot via Legion Avenue, pausing at the Culhane Street junction and continuing on the eastern end of Culhane Street, through Philip Street and Patrick Street to St. Nicholas' Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. After Mass, the cortege will continue to St. Patrick's Cemetery for burial.

The death has occurred of Carol McGahon (née McDonnell) of Norbury, London and late of Market Square, Dundalk, Louth

Predeceased by her parents Gerard and Kathleen and brothers Paddy and Gerard. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Paddy, sister Anne, brother Maurice, brother-in-law Peter, sisters-in-law Briege, Breada, Barbara and Ethna, nieces, nephews, cousins and her many neighbours and friends. 

The family would like to thank the staffs of Norbury Hall Care Home, Croydon University Hospital Hospital and St. Christopher's Hospice for the exceptional care Carol received. Donations in lieu of flowers are welcomed to Dementia UK and St. Christopher's Hospice. 

Carol's funeral will take place with private cremation at Streatham Crematorium, South London on Tuesday, May 21st. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

The death has occurred of Michael Goss of Cloughvalley Carrickmacross & formerly Haggardstown, Co Louth

On 19 May 2024, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his cherished family. Predeceased by his parents Michael & Margaret, his infant brother Francis and his niece Selina. 

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his partner Nita, his daughter Kerina, his sons Alan, Ashley & Adrian, his grandchildren Allannah, Aaron, Megan, Erin, Cara, Cian & Jayden, his sisters Anne & Marguerite and his brothers Patsy, Gerard, Jim & Augustine, his extended family, neighbours & many friends.

Reposing at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, on Monday from 4pm until 7pm. Michael's funeral cortège will leave his home, Cloughvalley, on Tuesday, proceeding on foot via Farney Street, Main Street & O'Neill Street, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, via donation box or directly to Carrickmacross Cancer Society. House strictly private.
