Dundalk Dog Rescue seek homes for puppies Kim, Bailey and Evan after rescue from the pound

Dundalk Dog Rescue will soon be looking to rehome three young puppies that were picked up from the Louth County Pound last week.

Kim, Bailey and Evan were picked up from the pound by Dundalk volunteers on Friday morning, arriving to Dundalk Dog Rescue "riddled in fleas". There were originally four puppies, but one was luckily rehomed straight from the pound.

In a post on social media, the rescue centre said the puppies "have since received their initial treatment for this".

Revealing that the mother of the puppies is a jack russell and the father is possibly a springer spaniel or collie, the centre said "we anticipate they will grow into medium size dogs".

Kim, Bailey and Evan settled into foster homes on Friday night, and Dundalk rescue centre confirmed that the pups will receive all their necessary vaccinations and treatments.

In the facebook post on the adorable pups, which garnered an impressive view count, the rescue centre said they will advise in the coming days when the puppies have had a chance to settle - and will begin the adoption process.
