While tens of thousands of Taylor Swift fans left the Aviva Stadium on a high following her sold out gigs, one young fan from Dundalk had a night she'll never forget.

Mia Green (7) from Marlmount, Dundalk who was at Taylor Swift’s Eras concert on Saturday evening with her mam Shannon was gifted the superstar's famous '22' hat, which her mother Shannon described as a "dream come true".

Mia's mother Shannon said her daughter was "on cloud nine" on Sunday morning following the memorable night, and had "the most amazing night meeting Taylor and getting the 22 hat".

Taylor, who was wearing the black fedora before gifting it to Mia, knelt down and thanked the DUndalk fan for going to the show.

She then asked the lucky fan if she could give her a hug before placing the hat on her head.

The hat is similar to the one Taylor wore in the music video for 22 and it has become a tradition for her to give it to a young fan during her live shows.

After miming taking a photograph of her, the megastar then high-fived Mia before continuing with her show.

As a delighted Mia returned to her seat, all the other young fans around her wanted to get their photos taken with her and to swap friendship bracelets.

Shannon thanked her friend and sister for bringing Mia to the concert, saying they "will always be the coolest people ever to Mia for brining her to the concert"

"Mia is just the best and kindest little girl, I’m so so happy for her and beyond proud of her," the proud Dundalk mother said after the concert.

"A dream come true and something she will never ever forget".
