REPORT: Human remains find linked to Louth teen's disappearance

A part of Ardee was cordoned off yesterday evening after the discovery of a suspicious device in the town.

Gardaí received a report of a device in the Hale Street area at around 9pm on Tuesday evening.

The area was cordoned off and the Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit attended the scene.

Gardaí say the device has been removed from the scene by the Army EOD and the cordon has been lifted.

Investigations are ongoing.
