The median house price for houses sold with the Dundalk Eircode A91 in June 2024 was €275,000, according to figures released by the CSO (Central Statistics Office).
The county wide median house price for Louth now stands at €295,000.
Of the 46 houses sold in Dundalk in April, 14 were to first time buyer owner-occupiers; 24 to former owner-occupiers and 8 were to non occupiers.
Thirty-one of these houses were existing builds while fifteen were new homes.
The median price of the new houses sold was €365,000 and the median price of existing houses sold in April was €215,000.
In Drogheda, the median price of residential properties sold in A92: Drogheda in June 2024, was €337,250.
Nine of the houses sold were new houses and fifty-nine were existing. The median price for the new houses sold was €369,900 while for existing houses it was €313,000.

Nationally, the national Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) increased by 8.6% in the 12 months to June 2024, with prices in Dublin rising by 9.3% and prices outside Dublin up by 8.2%.
In June 2024, 3,563 dwelling purchases by households at market prices were filed with the Revenue Commissioners, down by 11.5% when compared with the 4,025 purchases in June 2023.
The median price of a dwelling purchased in the 12 months to June 2024 was €337,500.
The lowest median price for a dwelling in the 12 months to June 2024 was €169,000 in Longford, while the highest median price was €630,000 in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.
