For families, you can look forward to the delightful, Decade of Dreams exhibition, celebrating 10 years of An Táin Arts Centre’s beloved outdoor family promenade theatre at Anaverna House, a variety of free fun events for Culture Night, including live performances, balloon twisting, drama workshops and much more.
A unique site-specific show, Granny Jackson's Dead, hijacking the familiar and using games and technology, and Megaslam Wrestling return to the main stage for a two hour action spectacular!
For the music fans, renowned drummer Jim White and acclaimed guitarist Marisa Anderson play as part of the Culture Club in Roe River Books, celebrate Leonard Cohen's 90th birthday with Cohen Unlimited and their Thanks for the Dance tribute show, G4, the original X-Factor stars, have their 20th Anniversary Tour and country fans will be given a taste of Nashville with Made in Tennessee - A Night of Country Music.
Looking to be entertained? Rory's Stories returns with his newest show, Keep 'Er Lit, there’s a Halloween special in The Psychology of Serial Killers and relive the iconic Dundalk ballroom with Adelphi Nights.
For theatre buffs, An Táin Arts Centre’s Community Company in Residence, Encore Productions present their love letter to Samuel Beckett in The Beckett List, experience the dynamic, experiment musical Morag, You're a Long Time Deid and Paddy Cullivan gives a hilariously insightful journey through the country in I Can't Believe It's Not Ireland.
Former Writers in Residence with An Táin Arts Centre present their newest works with Radhika Iyer's Why Are You Here? a poignant reflection on the intersection of Indian and Irish cultures, and Conor McGinnity's original play, The Big House.
And the current Theatre Company in Residence, Chalk on the Wall Productions present their newest original play exploring the challenges facing Irish road users today in Impact.
Afternoon and evening film screenings of the best in arthouse, foreign language and critically acclaimed movies, Wicked Little Letters, Past Lives, The Zone of Interest, among some of the titles. The free Monthly Book Club continues on the last Thursday of the month in Roe River Books.
Coming up in the Basement Gallery, the current Emerging Visual Artist in Residence Moya Gibney will present a work in progress exhibition Flux, with a closing reception on Wednesday 25th September.
Former Visual Artist in Residence, Els Borghart presents Liminal Echoes, a collection of portraits of local Ukrainian nationals.
Creative Spark return with their annual exhibition of work created during their residency programme, this year titled, Reside, and guest artist Carlos Navarro Moral brings their abstract surrealism to An Táin Arts Centre in November.
