Comedian Sophia Wren
There is something for everyone this week in Toales in Dundalk with live music gigs, comedy and DJs.
Thursday 29th August - Fireside Sessions present Bedside Community plus Damien Adare. Free Admission, show starts 9pm
Fireside Sessions is an acoustic club that showcases the best in acoustic acts, always inside by the fire in the bar, always free admission, and is proud to welcome back Bedside Community's multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Roberto Tamburrini, a regular (and favourite) in Toales, with an eclectic mix of influences shaping his set of truly original songs.
From folk to post-punk, with hints of grunge and shoegaze and early 2000's indie, the sounds come together to form a moody melancholic form of indie rock which intertwines with honest, thought-provoking lyrics that tackle topics from mental health, grief, addiction, and the simple struggles of everyday modern life.
Support on the night comes from local singer/songwriter Damien Adare.
Friday 30th August - El Paso Comedy club presents Sophia Wren plus Angela Mullin, Claire Roche, Shinanne Higgins, Breda Hegarty and host Elizabeth Redmond. Admission €10, doors 8pm

Also on the night Angela Mullin, Claire Roche, Shinanne Higgins, Breda Hegarty and of course your fab-u-lous El Paso host for the evening, everyone's favourite Dundalk Texan - Elizabeth Redmond!
