Volunteers are taking part in a 'Bag Pack' fundraiser in Dunnes in the Marshes Shopping Centre in Dundalk today, tomorrow and Saturday for St Patrick's Parish Soup Kitchen/Food Parcels.
All donations gratefully received!
"We've really been hit by the cost of living crisis and needless to say we've seen a 20 per cent increase in demand for our food parcels" a spokesperson said.
"We spent almost €6,600 in July and August between items for our Food Parcels and meals for the Soup Kitchen.
"As a result we'll be holding a number of other fundraisers before our annual December bucket collection and our Church Gate Collection on Christmas Eve."
So keep an eye out for the volunteers doing the 'Bag Pack' fundraiser for or St Patrick's Parish Soup Kitchen/Food Parcels and make a donation!
