Lú Festival of Light set to dazzle Drogheda this October

The Lú Festival of Light is returning this October to dazzle Drogheda with spectacular light shows depicting Irish myths and legends.
This year audiences will be able to journey through time and discover magical stories originating in the Boyne Valley region with stunning light shows and illuminations on some of Drogheda's prominent buildings such as the Old Abbey, St Peter's Church, St Dominic's Bridge and St Laurence's Gate.
Audio narration will accompany the visual shows to enhance the audience's experience.

As well as these incredible illuminations, the festival will also have an array of street performers, including stilt walkers and fire breathers! Face painting will also be available for the little ones.

The hugely popular festival will run over two long weekends from October 25 to 28 and then from October 31 to November 3. Anyone interested will be delighted to know that all of the events are free to attend!

With so many festivities planned and cafes, bars and restaurants in the area staying open late during the festival, it is sure to be an amazing time for the whole family.
