Dundalk Garda Station
Gardaí launched a probe after a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be non life- threatening following an assault in Dundalk on Sunday.
Gardai said they responded to reports of an incident of assault at a business premises in Dundalk, Co. Louth on Sunday 27th October 2024.
It is understood the incident happened at the Imperial Hotel on Park Street in Dundalk.
A man (40s) was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non life-threatening.
A woman (40s) was arrested and charged in relation to this incident. She is due to appear before Dundalk District Court at a later date.
A garda spokesperson said that investigations are ongoing and no further information is available.
Gardai have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
