This Christmas, Ireland’s leading school meals provider, The Lunch Bag, is reinforcing its commitment to the health and safety of students by donating LifeVac anti-choking devices to St Mary's NS in Knockbridge, Co Louth.
The LifeVac, a regulated medical device, is designed to prevent choking emergencies, and adds an invaluable layer of safety for thousands of children nationwide.
Sales and Marketing Director of LifeVac Europe, Matt Banagan said: "The team at LifeVac Europe are thrilled by the generous donation The Lunch Bag are doing for schools across Ireland, in combination with their school meals this clearly shows The Lunch Bag’s commitment to not only keeping children nutritionally healthy, but also to keep children safer in a choking emergency when first aid fails or cannot be performed.
"LifeVac Europe has helped save 3,128 lives to date, of which 1,960 have been precious children."

This initiative is part of The Lunch Bag’s broader mission: to transform Ireland’s nutritional and wellbeing landscape. Their road crew, known for their fun and engaging visits, will spread festive cheer while personally delivering the life-saving devices to schools.
