Louth's Toales Rock Bar and Live Venue is set for another weekend of incredible events and music!
On Thursday, December 19, Fireside Sessions Presents Ben Reel and friends, with the show starting 9pm. Admission is free!
Fireside Sessions is an acoustic club that showcases the best in acoustic acts, always inside by the fire in the bar, and as always, admission is free. They business are proud to welcome back for another Fireside Session, Ben Reel.
Since releasing his debut album 'This Is the Movie' in 1999, Ben has consistently reinvented his sound, blending influences from folk, soul, reggae, rock, and jazz.
Critics compare his style to icons like John Hiatt, Dylan, and the Band, while others have dubbed him the Irish Springsteen, but with a voice and artistry uniquely his own.
Over a 25-year solo career, Ben has earned global acclaim, with appearances on major platforms like BBC, RTE, and Dutch NPO Radio.
He’s shared the stage with legends like Jools Holland and The Cranberries and has collaborated with artists such as Hal Ketchum, David Olney, and Nanci Griffiths.
In 2020, Ben released his 9th album, 'The Nashville Calling', produced by Will Kimbrough and Tommy Womack, featuring E Street Band’s Garry W Tallent on bass. Recorded in Nashville, the album topped the Euro Americana charts and marked a career milestone.
Ben has performed at iconic venues like the Bluebird Café and toured extensively, including with Tommy Womack and Eric Andersen.
With a loyal international fan base, Ben Reel remains a tireless troubadour and a vital presence on the global music scene.
On Friday, December 20, Toales' Christmas karaoke party with Nicky is taking place! Doors open at 8pm and admission if free. 
This holiday season, grab your friends, family, and festive spirit for the most joyful and melodic event of the year! Toales' karaoke king Nicky is set to host the ultimate Christmas Karaoke party, and it's the perfect way to celebrate the holidays while singing your favourite Christmas classics.
On Saturday,  December 21, Avocado Rocks Presents Bobby Manshee / Mia Maddon / Eugene O'Hanlon and even more special guests!  Doors open at 8pm and admission costs just €5.
